Description
This original acrylic on canvas is a memorial work dedicated to the 14 people, including 9 children, killed by plastic bullets fired by the Brittish in Belfast Northern Ireland. One of the victims, 12 year old Carol Ann Kelly from Twinbrook in west Belfast died on 22 May 1981, having been struck by a plastic bullet fired by a member of the Royal Fusiliers. The 14 bullet holes in the left side of the canvas were made by the artist firing a 45 cal. handgun 14 times through the canvas.
